BIPOC Saturday
Ida Finds Her Voice is a children's picture book written by Cleveland author and educational consultant Dr. Kate Anderson Foley. The story recounts a day in the life of Ida, a multiracial elementary school girl, who encounters people being unkind to other people. In the end, she embraces love over hate. Foley wrote the book to help parents talk about hard topics like prejudice and intolerance.

Bravissimo!
I got home from work, made some coffee and read out loud your story to my daughter. We experienced it together and she kept saying, “Oh this is a really great story.” She was right of course. Bravo, bravo, bravissimo! What a beautiful book both story wise and the illustrations. No words . . . good for you, your cousin and the artist. Congratulations!
Masterful
Thank you for writing this book. It is beautifully written and the illustrations are terrific. This is quality work that’s well beyond the average children’s book.
