Our 5 year old loves reading this book. The story touches on many areas (feelings and emotions, thinking through how words and actions can have an effect). Whenever we talk about social situations with our son or see that he is feeling shy we now say, well "what would Ida do?" Read this book to your kids, you will be pleasantly surprised at the questions your child will ask and how easy it is to use this story to start meaningful conversations with them.
